I bought it in 1985 and believe its from the late 1970's
I've only seen One other one out there
Shimano Dura-Ace Aero components, beautiful condition, GREAT polish and finish
Aero-dynamic tubing
Front wheel is radially laced, w/every other spoke flat
Seat tube is 63.5 cm ( center of crank to top of tube)
Top tube is 56.5 cm
Nitto Crystemblue stem 11 cm
Nitto Aluminum Handlebars
Aero seatpost & Kashimax saddle
Large diameter pedals designed for lower center of gravity
Component booklets (diagrams and complete breakdown of components)
Original Shimano Aero Dynamics Stickers
Frame custom built and painted Shimano blue, probably to showcase the Aero components
Tubular sewup tires)
Rear brake cable is hidden in top tube
French tire repair kit w/needle, thread and cute little metal box
(I'm asking $1000 for the original bike and would like to sell the following parts seperately, I'm really hoping someone would like to ride the bike in its original condition, ITS JUST SO BEAUTIFUL !!!!!) Definitely a collectable
Bike is back to the original condition I bought it in I also have adapters for the pedals to allow speed play type pedals, also have a set of training clincher wheels, adjustable Look stem.

I'm posting this for an old friend who lives in New Mexico. Let me know if you are interested.

John, this is definitely a funky-sounding ride. The components on it are probably the Dura Ace AX group. A few manufacturers built aero-tube bikes around this group, including Serotta - a friend of mine was building for him then and showed me some trick stuff they built for Wayne and Dale Stetina.
Does it have the AX brakes, a centerpull design like Campy Delta but without the massive aero cover? I used the AX pedals and cranks for several years until everybody went clipless - they lowered your center of gravity about 2 cm while maintaining pedaling corner clearance - great in criteriums. I still have a pair of the AX 7 speed cassette hubs.
Is the bike here or in NM? I'd love to see it. What make is it?
